Shipping, freight & packing
These machines are heavy, rare, and often irreplaceable. Shipping is handled like lab gear, not like a random auction box.
Workstations & desktops
- Dense foam or custom padding around the chassis.
- Drives locked or padded where possible to limit shock.
- Plastics and bezels wrapped to reduce scuffs.
Rackmount servers
- Packed with rails removed or protected where appropriate.
- Marked as heavy and fragile for carrier handling.
CPUs, RAM, and boards
- Anti-static bags or sleeves for all boards and modules.
- Additional padding and boxing inside a rigid outer box.
- ESD-safe handling before packing.
Carriers & insurance
- Tracked shipping with major carriers (UPS/FedEx/USPS or similar).
- Shipments are insured up to at least the purchase value when possible.
- Signature confirmation may be required on higher-value systems.
Freight for large orders
Very heavy or multi-system orders may ship via freight instead of parcel. In that case, you'll get a direct quote and approval before anything is billed or booked.
