Returns & DOA policy
This is vintage hardware. It's treated carefully and tested hard, but it's still decades old. The goal is to be clear and fair so you know what to expect.
Dead-on-arrival (DOA)
- If an item arrives non-functional and was sold as tested or working, it is treated as DOA.
- Contact us as soon as possible and within 14 days of delivery.
- Please provide basic troubleshooting info and clear photos so the problem can be documented.
- Once confirmed, you'll be offered either a refund or a replacement if stock exists.
What is covered
- Items that are DOA or not as described in the listing.
- Missing parts or major functional features that were promised in the description.
- Returns requested within 14 days of delivery, after contacting us first.
- Items returned in the condition received, with all accessories and packaging.
- Customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Change-of-mind returns
- We do not accept change-of-mind returns.
- If you're unsure whether a system or part is right for you, please ask questions before buying.
What isn't covered
- Damage caused by incorrect power, overclocking, or modification after delivery.
- Issues caused by poor airflow, user-conducted repairs, or incompatible third-party parts.
- Very minor cosmetic wear or marks that occur after shipping and normal unpacking, unless specifically misrepresented.
If you're not sure how a system will behave in your environment (voltage, rack depth,
noise, OS plans, etc.), ask questions via the contact page
before you buy. The more info shared up front, the smoother the sale.
